The most incredible thing about a hotel on this scale is how they manage to keep the level of hospitality so high, and create a feeling of intimacy in the grandest of spaces. The attention to detail is stunning: the smallest features are adorned with intricacy, and every element including the vast 103m pool is designed with style and elegance.
As a photographer, it is important to be stimulated by your surroundings. The Chedi is the perfect setting for visual invigoration and inspiration; the aesthetics are well considered, from the elegant shutters that adorn the windows to the palm trees that line each poolside.
The designers’ use of light, open space and plants can be seen in Matt’s images, demonstrating how the environment has a natural but also luxurious feel and ambience, allowing guests to feel comfortable and creatively stimulated, exploring the flow between the natural elements and stylish interior design.
