Tom has always had a creative mind, manipulating images and building epic digital worlds with impressive skill and style.
He has also made incredible films from a young age, with an eye for a unique shot and editing with a special vision. After years of capturing memories, places, friends and adventures, his approach to filmmaking has become slick and stylised, with a clear conscience and intent.
His enthusiasm for creating and shooting, as well as his passion for travel and the environment, is evident throughout his work. This aspect of his work and personality couldn’t fit more perfectly with the Studio_M philosophy, and after smashing his A Levels, we’re so happy to have him join the team.

Commonly known by the nation as ‘Shark Island’ the small island of Fuvahmulah hasn’t typically been a popular holiday destination. But the recent recognition of its shark population and marine life has resulted in a dramatic increase in attention. But like a lot of growth, there’s the opportunity to do it the right way, the way this gem of an island deserves, and then there’s the devastating way. Fuvahmulah Marine Foundation is a locally driven non-profit, dedicated to protecting and conserving the pristine marine ecosystem that surrounds the Maldivian island paradise of Fuvahmulah. Tom documented how and why the Foundation has set out to protect this shark paradise.
Tom spent 2 months in Thailand with ‘The Travel Squad’ capturing their primary ethos which is to meet like minded strangers and create memories of a lifetime. The story of The Travel Squad was simply an idea to connect like-minded, outdoor travel enthusiasts all over the world. The focus of this video was to promote the travel tours that they launched where you can arrange to travel with people from the Facebook group and then book onto the trips online.
Danni Washington has always been deeply passionate about our oceans. From a young age she was inspired by its beauty and dreamed of studying it's contents. This passion has fuelled her work as a science communicator and ocean advocate to this day. This summer we made our way over to Mexico with Danni and an incredible team to create for a brand that fuse the power of nature and science.
