The film centres on the inspirational story of a former child labourer from Nepal, Hem Moktan, who now works for GoodWeave on the frontlines, protecting children from similar situations.

2 years after completing our expedition through the Lefka Ori in Crete, I never thought that I would be able to undertake another adventure through the mountains. However, at the age of 74, with 2 ankle replacements, I thought that it might be my last chance to venture into the high mountains, somewhere I’ve always dreamed of: an explorer’s journey through the Stubai mountain top route in Austria.

During this time of change, we’re witnessing the acceleration in which organisations are choosing to do ‘the right thing’ and become more socially aware and responsible. And given the momentum of this movement, opting out of purpose or sustainability is really no longer a viable option.

This is a new event for everyone, all 7 billion of us. No one is exempt. We've all learnt something during this time, meaning we all have a story to tell.

Think about it... we carry out our everyday rituals and routines according to the stories and people we most believe in, and these days the story is changing quicker than ever before. Matt Porteous said It was a true pleasure to photograph this special Christmas party hosted by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the staff and volunteers from charities and organisations who will be working over the Christmas period.

In April, Matt Porteous headed out to the Maldives to meet the creators of the Soneva Namoona Project, exploring the ways in which islands in the Northern Atolls are improving and overcoming waste management issues. The Studio_M team helped to put together a proposal for President Solih of the Maldives,

Matt Porteous met Suzie Turner at BrideLux in New York this January. Instantly connecting, they headed out in -5°C conditions the following afternoon with similar visions in mind, to create a totally unplanned couture fashion shoot on the streets on New York City.

Featuring William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis. “It was an honour to be asked to photograph The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family at Anmer Hall. Capturing the fun and relaxed moments between such a wonderful family was a true privilege.”

It’s not everyday we’re commissioned on a medical shoot, and it’s certainly not everyday it’s an underwater medical shoot. But then again, nothing really surprises us when it comes to shooting with Getty Images.

Repetitive point and shoot, that is how we were beginning to feel after years of shooting with Canon, which although are great cameras and cameras we continue to use in certain situations. We felt that we had become automated in our approach to visual story telling, something had to change.

I've always had a fascination with our world below the breaking waves. To me, it symbolizes the world that we live in today, the calm before every storm, the beauty, and the chaos. The reefs that survive and many that have gone, fish numbers are down in oceans, where others they thrive. We live in a beautiful world but we must search further to find it and work harder to protect it.
